Miami's art galleries and private collections by neighborhood, with hours, prices and the fall 2026 changes: what reopens, what closed, what opens.
Kurz gesagt
- Start here: Rubell Museum, $18, and the free ICA Miami in the Design District.
- Gallery streets: Little River and Little Haiti: Nina Johnson and Locust Projects.
- Reopening: The Margulies Collection in Wynwood reopens with new shows November 4, 2026.
- Closed: The de la Cruz Collection in the Design District says it is closed.
- Busiest weeks: Art Walk on second Saturdays; Art Basel Miami Beach December 4 to 6, 2026.
See the Rubell and ICA for the big names, then spend an afternoon in the commercial galleries of Little River, and time your trip around the November 4 Margulies reopening or an Art Walk Saturday if you can.
Anmerkung der Redaktion
Miami's art map shifts every fall, right before Art Basel. This year three things changed that most lists have not caught: the de la Cruz Collection, long a free stop in the Design District, now says it is closed; the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse is shut until November 4, 2026; and Locust Projects is closed while it installs its Art Week show. Everything below was checked against each place's own site in October 2026.

Little River and Little Haiti: where the galleries are now
Wynwood made its name on murals, but several of Miami's best-known commercial galleries sit north of it, around NW 2nd Avenue and NE 2nd Avenue in Little Haiti and Little River. Nina Johnson, at 6315 NW 2nd Avenue, is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm; its current shows, Anders Herwald Ruhwald's Sculptures for Plants and People and Miguel Ferrando's Off the Shelf, run until November 14, 2026.
Locust Projects, the nonprofit space at 297 NE 67th Street that calls itself Miami's incubator of new art, is open Wednesday to Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm, but is closed while it installs Edison Peñafiel's Tides and Passages, its show for Miami Art Week. Its own site gives the opening as both November 14 and November 17, so check before you go.
Fredric Snitzer Gallery has Rocío García's La Parisina on view from October 24 to December 19, 2026. Its site did not show the address or hours when we checked, so look them up there before you go.
Wynwood beyond the murals
The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse, 591 NW 27th Street, is temporarily closed and reopens with new exhibitions on November 4, 2026. The Bakehouse Art Complex, artists' studios at 561 NW 32nd Street, is open to the public from noon to 5 pm. The Museum of Graffiti at 276 NW 26th Street is closed on Tuesdays and opens a new show, Disem: Who Authorized This?, from September 19, 2026.
Inside Wynwood Walls, the Goldman Global Arts Gallery has the indoor shows. Every second Saturday is Art Walk night across the neighborhood; the next two are November 14 and December 12, 2026, and Wynwood Walls warns that traffic and parking get heavy, so come by rideshare.
Not open: the de la Cruz Collection in the Design District, free for years, now says on its own site that it is closed, and its last listed exhibition is from 2023 to 2024.
