Anmerkung der Redaktion
Boutique is a marketing word, so we used two plain filters. First, size: we kept hotels with roughly 180 rooms or fewer, using the room counts on the hotels' Michelin Guide pages. Second, an outside judgment: most of the hotels here hold a Michelin Key in the 2026 selection, published on September 18, 2026. We did not stay at them; everything below comes from the hotels' own pages and their Michelin listings.

The Moore: 13 suites in a 1921 showroom
The Moore is the smallest hotel on this list and the most unusual. It occupies a building from 1921, built as a neoclassical furniture showroom, at 4040 NE 2nd Avenue, in the Design District; Michelin files it under MiMo. A Zaha Hadid installation anchors the atrium, and the building also holds art galleries, a private club and restaurants.
There are 13 rooms, all suites, and the hotel is adults-only, 21 and over. Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out at noon. It is the pick if you want the Design District's shops and galleries on the doorstep rather than the beach.
Hotel Greystone and The Betsy: small, in South Beach
Hotel Greystone, at 1920 Collins Avenue, is a 1930s Art Deco building redone inside in a minimalist style, with 91 rooms. Check-in and dinner at its main restaurant, Sérêvène, are for guests 21 and over; younger guests can eat at Kobo Café. Some rooms have private terraces with outdoor showers and Jacuzzis. There is a rooftop pool and bar, and a beach club across Collins Avenue. Michelin lists a $42 nightly resort fee and valet at $53.50 a night.
The Betsy, at 1440 Ocean Drive, has 130 rooms across a Georgian-style building on Ocean Drive and the former Carlton Hotel on Collins Avenue. Its own site lists live jazz nightly in the Piano Bar, book talks, and a library in the hotel plus another in the guest rooms. Michelin notes a rooftop pool with a view out to sea, valet at $45 a night and a one-time $150 fee for dogs. The beach is across Ocean Drive and Lummus Park.
Coconut Grove: Mr. C and Mayfair House
Mr. C Miami, at 2988 McFarlane Road, has 100 rooms, a spa and a marina, according to its Michelin listing, and the building is by Arquitectonica. The Bellini restaurant is the center of the hotel. A $25 service fee covers a welcome Bellini, morning coffee and tea, Wi-Fi, two laundry services per stay and access to a beach in South Beach with loungers and towels, plus Mr. C bikes. Pets are allowed for an extra charge.
Mayfair House Hotel & Garden, at 3000 Florida Avenue, is the biggest hotel here at 179 rooms, so it is boutique in style more than size. Its atrium is planted with tall palms, some rooms have claw-foot tubs or vintage typewriters, and the rooftop Sipsip Calypso Rum Bar honors the Grove's Bahamian founders. Both hotels suit a quieter stay near the bay and the Grove's restaurants, with the beach a drive away.
