BodySense - Holistic Wellness Center & Spa
A longtime Coral Way area spa mixing massage and facials with acupuncture, reiki and iridology, now at a new SW 22nd Ave address.
Geprüft Oktober 2026
For anyone who wants a solid massage or facial with late weeknight slots and a 25-year track record. The trade-off: the menu leans hard into holistic extras, and prices aren't posted up front.
Massage first, then the rest
Massage is the core here: therapy, luxury and couples sessions, plus pain management work. One review quoted on the site singles out an Esalen massage, another a therapist named Laura and the mild, quiet music. The spa packages bundle sauna time, exfoliation, massage, foot therapy and facials, the easy pick for a birthday or a first visit. Skin care runs through an esthetician using the house products. Past that, the menu goes well beyond a standard spa: acupuncture, reiki, detox, iridology and naturopathy, health counseling and new weight loss programs. Treat those as their own decision, not a casual add-on.
The new address
BodySense spent more than 25 years at its old spot before relocating this fall, and every appointment now happens at 2212 SW 22nd Ave, near Coral Way. If you're working off an old confirmation, an old map pin or a friend's directions from years back, double check before you drive. The spa's own blog frames the move as same care, same neighborhood. The 4.7 from about 360 Google reviews was built mostly at the previous location, so read it as a vote for the team and the treatments rather than the new rooms.
Hours and booking
Wednesday and Thursday run until 10 pm, which is rare for a spa and the best bet for an after-work massage. Tuesday and Thursday open early, at 8:45 am. Monday is short, noon to 6 pm. Friday and Saturday go 10 am to 7 pm, Sunday 9 am to 6 pm. Booking happens online. Personal and corporate memberships exist if you plan to come regularly, and they also do outcalls, spa parties and gift certificates. Prices aren't on the homepage, so check the service menu before you commit.
