For a French-classics dinner or a long weekend brunch on the patio, with a raw bar if you're celebrating. The trade-off: it's $$$, sides are extra, and the formula is borrowed from New York rather than invented here.

Steak frites, then the tower

The bar steak with maître d'hôtel butter is $41, the New York strip with béarnaise $53, and the filet au poivre $68, all with frites. That's the order here, and the menu barely pretends otherwise. Onion soup gratinée ($21) and escargots ($23) are the classic starters. For a table splurge, the raw bar does a petit plateau at $125 and a grand at $195, oysters at $26 and Florida stone crab at $38 for two claws. Sides are à la carte, with frites at $12 and pommes purée at $10, so budget accordingly.

A different dish every night

The plat du jour rotates by day, and it's the best reason to pick your night. Monday is duck à l'orange ($46), Wednesday boeuf bourguignon ($46), Friday bouillabaisse ($43), Saturday Dover sole meunière at $85 and Sunday lobster risotto ($49). Tuesday's truffle spaghettini is the bargain at $29. The room follows the New York formula: white subway tile, bistro chairs, red leather banquettes. The outdoor patio is what makes this branch feel local. It's open 11:30 am to 11 pm early in the week and until midnight Thursday through Saturday.

Brunch and the Spice menu

Weekends open at 10 am, and the brunch menu leans Parisian: eggs Benedict with Parisian ham ($23), quiche Lorraine ($19), a crêpe complète ($23), plus an $18 viennoiserie basket if the table wants to share croissants. Through October 31, Miami Spice brings a $40 lunch and a $50 dinner, three courses with onion soup, escargots or steak tartare up front and a bar steak option for a $20 supplement. A glass of the Côtes du Rhône pairing is $14. At 4.4 from about 1,600 Google reviews, it's reliable more than revelatory.
