Good for a birthday, a wedding or a one-day Ferrari fantasy, and the daily rates are posted up front. The trade-off: $299 to $1,999 a day, and big event weekends sell out early.

Picking up

The shop is at 1510 Collins Ave, on the South Beach stretch of Collins. It's open 24 hours Monday through Friday and 9 am to 9 pm on weekends. Most renters never walk in. The company delivers to hotels and residences across Miami Beach, Brickell, Downtown and Sunny Isles, and handles Miami International Airport pickups on request. You pick the car, the date and the drop point, and the team says it confirms the vehicle and delivery details the same day. All 70-plus cars are owned and detailed in-house, so you're dealing with the owner, not a broker passing your booking along.

What it costs

The site posts daily rates, which plenty of exotic shops won't do. The floor is $299 a day for a Maserati Ghibli SQ4, Mercedes-Benz GLC300 or Audi A5 Convertible, and a Corvette is $349. A Porsche 911 runs $649 and a Lamborghini Huracan $999. The Rolls-Royce Dawn, Ferrari California and McLaren GT sit at $1,199. The top is $1,999 a day for the Lamborghini Aventador or Ferrari 296. The company promises no surprise fees, but the posted rates don't spell out deposit, mileage or insurance terms. Get those in writing before you sign anything.

The catch

Big weekends. The F1 Miami Grand Prix, Art Basel week, Miami Swim Week and Ultra all spike demand, and the shop itself says to book at least a week ahead because peak weekends sell out. The other catch is plain math: a supercar on South Beach spends a lot of its time crawling down Collins at walking pace. The payoff comes on the Rickenbacker Causeway early in the morning or up A1A, not on Ocean Drive at 10 pm on a Saturday. A 4.6 from about 270 Google reviews suggests the handoff usually goes smoothly.
