Best for FIU students and anyone in Westchester who wants halal shawarma after 11 pm. The trade-off: it's a young restaurant, its posted hours don't match Google's, and that 4.9 rating hasn't had much time to settle.

What to order

Beef shawarma is the dish reviewers mention most: tender beef, garlic sauce, pickles and vegetables in flatbread for $14.49. The house Sahara Cheesy Chicken Shawarma adds melted cheese to grilled chicken for $13.49. The Kafta Kabab Bowl puts grilled kafta over rice and salad for $14.49. Falafel with tahini is the cheap move at $7.99. Reviews quoted on the restaurant's site also call out arayes and za'atar on pita, so look for those on the full menu. All the meat, including chicken, beef and lamb, is halal, and that's harder to find out here than it should be.

Late nights on Eighth Street

Google lists it open from 11 am daily, until midnight Monday and Tuesday and until 2 am Wednesday through Sunday. The restaurant's own site says 11:30 am to midnight every day. If you're counting on a 1 am wrap, call first. When the late hours hold, it's one of the few halal options near campus after midnight, and that's a big reason students keep coming. The 4.9 from about 1,400 Google reviews is strong. Keep in mind the place only opened in June 2025, so that score is still young.

Ordering ahead and bringing a crowd

You can order pickup online through the restaurant's site. Delivery runs through DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub. Tables can be booked online, with slots from 11:30 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 11:30 pm. Parties of 10 or more go through a separate request form, and the restaurant does catering too. It takes cash, cards and digital payments. Parking is on site, and it's minutes from FIU, which makes it an easy pick between classes or for a cheap group dinner afterward.

The restaurant says it has its own parking spaces, including accessible spots.
