Bag check and lockers

If your bag is too big, you have two choices: take it back to your car or check it. The stadium policy page lists bag checks near Entry Gates 3, 5, 8 and 14, at $12 to $20 depending on the size of the bag, paid by credit card only. Its A to Z guide describes Guest Experience bag checks at the east and southwest pedestrian crosswalks of the inner lots for $15 or $20. Plan on up to $20.

The bag check closes 60 minutes after the gates close, and you should collect your bag right after you leave; the stadium is not responsible for items left past the day. Lockers are also available outside the stadium. Anything left unattended outside may be thrown away.

Going back to the car has a catch: there is no re-entry at Dolphins and Hurricanes games, so do it before you scan your ticket.

Does the policy change by event?

For Dolphins games the stadium points to the NFL's all-clear policy at NFL.com/allclear, with the same 12 x 6 x 12 inch clear bag and 4.5 x 6.5 inch small bag.

The Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix uses the same two sizes, but it lets you bring an empty plastic or silicone bottle of up to 32 oz to fill inside, which the stadium's own policy does not. The race runs April 30 to May 2, 2027, and its bag checks are near Gates 3, 5, 8 and 14 as well.

For concerts, the Miami Open and other events, check the event page before you go. We did not find a separate bag policy for them on the stadium site.

Medical items and questions

The stadium's bag policy page does not spell out an exemption for medical bags. If you need to carry medical equipment or medication in something larger than the limits, contact Guest Experience before the day at 305-943-8000 or guestexperience@hardrockstadium.com. Seat cushions are allowed when they are for a medical need.

Service animals and service animals in training are allowed; other animals are not.

Lo que pregunta la gente

Can I bring a backpack to Hard Rock Stadium?

Only if it is clear and no bigger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches. Any non-clear bag must be 4.5 x 6.5 inches or smaller.

Does my bag have to be clear at Hard Rock Stadium?

Only if it is bigger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches. A small clutch or fanny pack up to that size can be any material; anything larger must be a clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches.

Can I bring water into Hard Rock Stadium?

Yes, one factory-sealed plastic bottle of 20 oz or less. Reusable bottles are not allowed, and water fountains are outside the restrooms on each level.

Is there a bag check at Hard Rock Stadium?

Yes. The stadium lists bag checks near Gates 3, 5, 8 and 14 at $12 to $20, credit card only, closing 60 minutes after the gates close. Its A to Z guide quotes $15 or $20.

Can I bring sunscreen to Hard Rock Stadium?

Not as a spray: all aerosol cans are banned. The stadium's pages do not mention lotion sunscreen, so a small non-aerosol tube is the safer choice.
