Topgolf in Miami: Doral, Miami Gardens and the driving ranges that cost less
Miami has two Topgolf venues, in Doral and Miami Gardens. Here are their hours, age rules and fees, plus lit public driving ranges that cost less.

How Topgolf pricing works
Topgolf charges by the bay and by the hour, not by the person. A bay holds up to six players, so the price splits nicely in a group of four to six and hurts for two. Prices change with the day and the hour, and Topgolf only shows them in the booking tool for your date. Check the grid on the venue page before you go; we have not printed a figure we could not see.
There are two extras that surprise people. New players pay a one-time $6 account activation fee, and sales tax is added on top. Food and drinks are separate from bay time.
If you live nearby, Topgolf's PlayMore membership is $20 a month and includes one free hour of play each month and a free appetizer each visit, with up to five guests.

- Reserve a bay up to two weeks ahead on Topgolf's site. Friday and Saturday nights are the ones that sell out.
- Walk-ins pay as they play, with a 30-minute minimum. If it is full, you can join the day's waitlist.
- You must be 18 or older to book. Anyone under 16 must be with a guest 21 or older at all times, and under 18 after 9 pm.
- Clubs are free to use, or bring your own.
- Groups of seven or more may struggle to get space as walk-ins, so book.
- Doral and Miami Gardens are both a drive from the beach. Plan on a car or a rideshare.
Driving ranges: when you want practice, not a party
Topgolf is a bar with targets. If you want to work on your swing, a public driving range gives you more balls for the money, and several in Miami are lit at night.
Miami Beach Golf Club at 2301 Alton Road has the most useful range for visitors staying on the beach. It is open to the public, buckets are sold at the pro shop at $18 small, $21 medium and $25 large, and it is fully lit for evening practice. You hit off mats Monday to Thursday and off natural grass Friday to Sunday, weather permitting. It opens at 6:30 am most days, at 9 am on Thursday and at noon on Monday, and closes at 7:30 pm. The club says the range sometimes closes for events, so call (305) 532-3350 first.
Crandon Golf on Key Biscayne, a Miami-Dade County course, has a lighted range. Bucket sales run 7 am to 7 pm Tuesday to Sunday and 7 am to 3 pm on Monday, with lights out at 8:45 pm. Its range page does not post bucket prices.
Palmetto Golf Course at 9300 SW 152nd St, also run by the county, has a 22-position lighted range. The county's page says the last bucket is sold at 8:30 pm Monday to Saturday and at 5:30 pm on Sunday. Prices are on the course's rate page or at the shop.

If the group wants golf-ish fun closer to the center, Puttery in Wynwood is indoor mini golf with a bar. Unlimited play is $25 for adults and $15 for 17 and under; a single 18-hole round is $21.
It is open Tuesday to Sunday and closed Monday. All ages are welcome all day Sunday to Thursday and until 5 pm on Friday and Saturday; after that it is 18 and over, and staff may ask for photo ID.
