For Britto fans, gift hunters and anyone who wants a piece of that loud, cheerful Miami look. The trade-off: it's a brand store first, so expect plenty of mugs and licensed figurines alongside the art.

What's on the shelves

The range runs from a $35 puzzle cube to $850 limited edition sculptures, based on prices listed on the brand's own site. In between you'll find tumblers around $55 to $75, mini figurines at $60, a $250 carry-on suitcase and a $480 watch. The collaborations draw a lot of the attention: Snoopy and Woodstock from Peanuts, Mickey and Minnie, Stitch, Looney Tunes and Sonic, all redone in Britto's thick black outlines and candy colors. There's even a pet line with collars, leashes and bowls. In-store stock may not match the website exactly, so call ahead if you're after one specific piece.

The serious stuff

Past the merch, Britto sells actual fine art: original paintings, original drawings, mixed media originals, serigraphs and limited edition prints. The site lists art advisory, commissions and custom framing as services, and fine art purchases come with a certificate of authenticity. That's worth asking about in person if you're spending real money, along with how shipping works for larger pieces, since the brand ships worldwide. Taste is your call. The style is instantly recognizable and pretty much unchanged for decades, which is either exactly the point or exactly the problem, depending on who's asking.

Fitting it into a Brickell day

It's open 10 am to 9 pm Monday through Saturday and 11 am to 7 pm on Sunday, so it works as an evening stop after dinner nearby or a quick browse when it's raining. Reviewers clearly love it: 5.0 from about 960 Google reviews, which is unusual for any shop. Budget anywhere from fifteen minutes to an hour, depending on whether you're grabbing a souvenir mug or weighing up a sculpture. Kids tend to gravitate toward the plushies and character figurines, so keep an eye on the breakables.
