Cubaocho is the stop that explains Little Havana: paintings from Cuba's exile and pre-revolution years on the walls, a long bar of rums underneath them, and live music on the stage most nights.
Why you go
Because nowhere else lets you look at a serious collection of Cuban art with a glass of rum in your hand. The room is part gallery, part bar, part concert hall, and the mix works: afternoons are for the paintings, evenings for the bands. It sits on the main Calle Ocho block beside the cigar shops.
When to go
Closed Monday. Open from 11 am Tuesday to Sunday, until midnight most nights and until 2 am on Friday and Saturday. Daytime for the art and a coffee; after 9 pm for the music.
