Level 6 is the Grove's rooftop: six floors up on Main Highway, a dinner-and-drinks menu, weekend brunch from 11 am, and a view that reminds you Coconut Grove is a forest with a bay at the end.
Why you go
Because Coconut Grove is low and green and this is the one place to see over it. The rooftop sits on top of the Mayfair building, with a bar, a dining room and open-air tables. The menu is dinner-length with cocktails to match, and on weekends it opens early for brunch.
When to go
Sunset, naturally. Open 5 pm to midnight Monday to Wednesday, until 1:30 am Thursday, 2 am Friday, and from 11 am Saturday and Sunday, closing 2 am Saturday and midnight Sunday. Weekend nights become a lounge after dinner.
