Meraki In The Grove
A Greek bistro on Main Highway in Coconut Grove, built around meze, grilled octopus, lamb chops and an all-Greek wine list.
Revisado octubre de 2026
Best for an easy Greek dinner in the Grove, ideally with friends sharing meze and platters. The trade-off: small plates run $15 to $29, so a casual spread adds up faster than the $$ suggests.
Order the meze first
The saganaki is the table-turner: fried Greek cheese, flambéed tableside, $16. The menu leans hard on small plates, and that's where to spend most of your order. Fillo feta with honey and sesame, retsina-steamed mussels and shrimp Santorini in ouzo, tomato and feta sauce all sit between $17 and $18. The grilled octopus is one of the house's popular items, but at $29 it costs more than most entrees. For spreads, the Poikilia platter gets you taramosalata, tzatziki, tyrokafteri, hummus and pita for $22. Mains go classic: moussaka at $23, lamb chops with lemon potatoes at $38.
A list that stays in Greece
Every wine on the list is Greek, which is the best reason to order a glass instead of a cocktail. Pours run about $16 to $19, covering Assyrtiko, Malagousia and Moschofilero on the white side and Agiorgitiko and Xinomavro on the red. A Limniona sparkling rosé is $19 a glass. Bottles mostly land between $65 and $80, and the splurges are two Santorini Assyrtikos at $135 and $155. If the grapes are unfamiliar, ask your server for a pick. That beats guessing off a list full of names you can't pronounce.
Feeding a whole table
Groups get the clearest deal here. The seafood feast, with salmon, scallops, shrimp, octopus and calamari, is $175 for four to six people. The grand meat platter is $180 for the same headcount, stacking lamb chops, ribeye, gyro, sausage, souvlaki and lamb kebab with Greek fries and dips. A two-person meat platter is $80. With about 1,700 Google reviews averaging 4.7, this isn't a quiet secret, so book ahead for a big party on a weekend. The restaurant also handles private events and catering.
