For anyone who wants a cheap, sweet, fruity round in Wynwood, especially during weekday happy hour. It's small, loud-colored and mojito-first. If you want quiet or a serious spirits list, look elsewhere.

What to drink

The classic mojito is $12, and the draw is the sugarcane: the bar presses its own juice daily and uses it instead of syrup. Add a flavor for $2 from a list that runs from passion fruit and tamarindo to kiwi, ginger and cucumber, or a second flavor for another $1. The Venti mojito is $22 if you're settling in. Margaritas and mules use the same flavor menu. Beyond that there's a full list: a Hard Lemonade made with fresh guarapo, two sangrias, and frozen piña coladas and Miami Vices at $18 to $20, a few dollars more in the fun cup.

Happy hour math

Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 pm, the classic mojito drops to $7 and any flavored one is $9. That's the window to aim for, and the bar says locals build their week around it. Food gets cheaper too: mini burgers, tequeños and pork chicharrón at $8, two empanadas for $7, chips and guac for $7. The Margarita Tower falls from $70 to $45, which only makes sense once you've got a few people at the table. Weekends don't get a happy hour, so a Saturday round costs full price.

Food and late nights

The kitchen goes further than you'd expect from a tiny tiki bar. There's a pan con lechón, smashburgers at $15 single or $20 double, flatbreads including a Diavola with hot honey, and a $30 Mojito Picada that piles chicharrón, empanadas and tequeños on one plate. Hours are the other draw: it's open every day from noon to 3 am, so it works as a midday stop between murals or a last round after bigger Wynwood rooms. It rates 4.4 from about 1,800 Google reviews. The space is small, so a crowd fills it quickly.
