Good for a morning iced latte or matcha on Brickell Avenue, with fresh juice if you want it. It runs $$ and closes at 4 pm every day, so plan it as a daytime stop.

What to order

The drinks the shop itself puts up front are mostly iced: an iced protein latte, an iced collagen matcha, a strawberry matcha, cold brew and a plain iced latte. There's also fresh squeezed orange juice and a green juice if coffee isn't the point. The newest add-on is a specialty cold foam you can put on any drink. Google lists it as a breakfast, brunch and bakery spot too, but the site text we checked doesn't name the food, so look at the menu before you set your heart on anything.

The Brickell branch

This is the 609 Brickell Ave location, toward the river end of the avenue. Raccoon is a small local outfit with two other shops, one on Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater and one on NE 17th Terrace in Wynwood, so pick this one if you're already in Brickell or downtown. It holds a 4.3 from about 400 Google reviews, which reads as solid and dependable rather than a place people cross town for. Prices sit at $$, about what you'd expect on this stretch.

Hours, ordering and catering

Doors open at 7 am and close at 4 pm, seven days a week, the same schedule on weekends as weekdays. That makes it an easy early coffee before work or a weekend brunch stop, but nothing after mid-afternoon. Online ordering is available, which helps on busy mornings, and there's a loyalty program if you'll be back often.
