World Tennis Miami
A South Beach tennis shop on Alton Road with on-site stringing, demo racquets and same-day delivery to 33139 hotels.
Revisado octubre de 2026
For players who need a restring, a demo frame or new court shoes without leaving the Beach. Expect full retail prices and a 6 pm close most days.
Stringing and demo frames
Stringing is the main reason locals walk in. The shop strings on site, with next-day turnaround as the default and same-day available. That matters when your only racquet pops a string before a Saturday match. String sets run from $12 for Head Lynx to $21.50 for Luxilon 4G or Alu Power, and Luxilon natural gut is $67.50. The shop also does racquet customization. A demo program lets you hit with a frame before you pay for one, which is the smart move on a $269 racquet.
What's on the wall
Prices sit at full retail, not outlet. Recent shoe listings run from $115 for the Asics Gel-Challenger 15 clay to $180 for the Asics Court FF 3 or Nike Vapor 12. The limited Head Gravity Tour Zverev frame lists at $269 unstrung. Brands cover the big names: Wilson, Head, Babolat, Yonex and Tecnifibre, plus Nike, adidas, ASICS, On and Lacoste. Clay-court shoe models show up often in the listings. There's also gear for padel, pickleball, beach tennis, running and swimming. Staff speak English, Portuguese and Spanish, a holdover from the Brazilian parent chain with more than 430 stores back home.
Playing while you're in town
Visitors get a lot out of this branch. It offers same-day delivery in the 33139 ZIP, including to hotels, so a forgotten racquet doesn't have to end your tennis trip. Flamingo Park Tennis Center is a few blocks away. The shop's own blog points to its Live Ball clinics, sorted by level, at $31 per person per hour if you don't have a partner. Hours are 10 am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday and 11 am to 5 pm Sunday, so drop off stringing early. It holds 4.5 from about 200 Google reviews, and the Miami Herald named it best sporting goods store in Miami-Dade in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Parqueo
Park free in the lot behind the store rather than hunting for a meter on Alton.
Bueno saberlo
The store phone, (305) 531-0008, also takes WhatsApp, which is handy for checking stringing times.
