Parking for the Adrienne Arsht Center: the $15 lot, valet, the Omni Garage and the Metromover

Which Arsht Center lot to book, what valet costs, where rideshare drops you, and why the Metromover is only half an answer after a late show.

En bref

  • Cheapest official lot: P2521, 1550 NE 1st Court: $15, booked ahead through Premium Parking.
  • Closest official lot: P2520, 1367 NE 1st Ave: $30.
  • Valet: $40 at the Ziff Ballet Opera House or Knight Concert Hall, cards only.
  • Rideshare: Bayshore Drive between NE 13th and NE 14th Street.
  • Free option: Metromover to the Adrienne Arsht Center station; it stops running at 10 pm.

Prepay the $15 P2521 lot as soon as you buy your seats; it is the cheapest official option, it uses your license plate so there is no gate line, and valet only makes sense if you are running late or need the drop-off.

How the official lots work

The two official Arsht lots run on license plate recognition. There is no ticket and no gate arm: the plate you register is the credential. That is the main reason to prebook. You reserve through the Premium Parking link on the Arsht parking page, and reservations stay open until two hours before the performance starts.

If you arrive without a booking, scan the QR code at the lot entrance with your phone camera and pay in the app, as long as there is space left. The Arsht says lots generally open two to three hours before a performance and stay open two hours after it, at the operator's discretion.

You can also buy parking without a show ticket through Free Flow Parking, which is useful if someone else holds the tickets. Refunds and parking problems go to Premium Parking customer service at 1-844-236-2011, not the box office.

Valet, and the free Lexus valet

Arsht Valet costs $40 and is taken by credit card only. It sits right at the Ziff Ballet Opera House and the Knight Concert Hall, so it is the one choice with no walk at all. You can add it when you buy tickets on arshtcenter.org, at the box office, in My Account, or by phone at 305.949.6722, up to 24 hours before the show.

Lexus drivers get free valet at the 2026-27 Broadway in Miami and Jazz Roots performances, first come, first served. For Jazz Roots the ramp is in front of the Knight Concert Hall on NE 14th Street, between Biscayne Boulevard and N. Bayshore Drive. For Broadway it is in front of the Ziff Ballet Opera House on NE 13th Street, between NE 2nd Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard.

Rideshare and transit

Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is on Bayshore Drive between NE 13th and NE 14th Street. Expect a wait right after the curtain, when both halls can empty at once.

The Metromover is free and the Adrienne Arsht Center station is one block away on NE 15th Street, across from the Omni Garage. Miami-Dade lists Metromover hours as 5:30 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. That is fine for a matinee and for getting to an evening show, but many evening performances will not be over by 10 pm, so have a rideshare plan for the way back.

Metrorail runs 5 am to midnight and costs $2.25; downtown you transfer to the Metromover to reach the Arsht. Brightline also stops downtown if you are coming from Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach.

Avant de partir

  • Prebook P2521 or P2520 the day you buy tickets; same-day space is not guaranteed
  • Register the plate of the car you will actually drive
  • Main doors open 90 minutes before the show; the theater doors usually open 30 minutes before
  • Latecomers wait for a break in the show, and some shows have no intermission
  • Accessible spaces exist in each surrounding lot; questions go to accessibility@arshtcenter.org
  • Save 1-844-236-2011 for parking problems, since the box office cannot fix a lot issue
