Giselle is the downtown rooftop for a big night: a lavish room on top of E11EVEN, dinner that is as much show as food, and views that make the bill feel justified.

Why you go

Because sometimes the night calls for the over-the-top version and Giselle does over-the-top well. It sits on the roof of the E11EVEN club downtown, the room is dressed like a set, and the menu is steak, seafood towers and the dishes that arrive with a little theater. The crowd is celebrating something, usually themselves.

When to go

Dinner from eight, late on weekends. It is a birthday and anniversary room; book well ahead for a Saturday. Sunset seatings get the best of the view.

Know before you go

$$$$ and then some. Dress code is strict: no sneakers, no shorts. Valet at the club entrance on NE 11th Street.
