For a fast, cheap, filling meal in Wynwood, from a morning wrap to a 1 am shawarma. It's a counter-style build-your-own spot, not a sit-down Mediterranean dinner.

Build the order

Pick a base first: house-baked samoon bread, flatbread, a rice bowl or a salad. Then pick a protein: chicken shawarma marinated in more than 15 ingredients, Angus steak shawarma, or vegan falafel fried to order. Toppings run from pickled turnips and peperoncini to feta and toasted almonds. The sauces are mostly tahini variations (signature, green, BBQ, spicy), plus a garlic sauce and a cucumber-yogurt tzatziki. Two sauces is plenty. It's a $ place, so a full meal won't hurt, and 4.7 from about 1,900 Google reviews suggests the formula works.

Off the build-your-own menu

The halloumi sandwich reads best on paper: cheese fried to order and stuffed in samoon with fig jam and white tzatziki. Goat cheese fingers come with the same fig jam. The Nar sandwich puts fries inside, along with thin-sliced chicken and garlic sauce, and the burrito does the same in a whole wheat tortilla. Icon fries come loaded with feta, olives, peppers and your pick of sauce, in two sizes. For something lighter, the fattoush-style salata has edamame, pickled turnips and crisp samoon chips.

From breakfast to 2 am

Doors open at 9 am every day, with steak, egg and cheese wraps, a breakfast bowl, and Turkish coffee alongside espresso drinks and iced lattes. It stays open until 2 am Tuesday through Sunday and closes at midnight on Monday, which makes it an easy late bite after a Wynwood night out. The site also advertises hookah, so expect some of that in the mix. You can order ahead online for pickup. Catering packages feed 10 to 25 people with chicken and steak shawarma, hummus, falafel, rice and bread.
