Vérifié novembre 2026
For anyone who wants a full Cuban plate with rice, beans and maduros in a calm, sit-down room. It's comfort food done straight, not a scene, and the house classic takes 45 minutes.
What to order
Lechón asado is the anchor: mojo-marinated roast pork with moros and yuca con mojo for $17.95. The Palomilla "La Casita" runs $21.95 with white rice, black beans and sweet plantains. The Angus churrasco with chimichurri is the splurge at $36.95. For starters, tostones rellenos come stuffed with picadillo, lechón or ropa vieja for $12.95, and three ham croquetas are $6.95. The kitchen flags The Tower, a stacked dish built to share, as its signature. Finish with the flan de la casa. The menu is long, so don't overthink it.
The arroz con pollo rule
The traditional arroz con pollo is a special order. It takes at least 45 minutes and serves two at minimum, for $29.95. It's yellow rice and chicken cooked in Spanish white wine, served with maduros. Order it the moment you sit down, or call ahead. To fill the wait, the Combo "Casita" for two ($22.95) piles up mini empanadas, pork and chicken chunks, mariquitas, yuca frita and croquetas. With four people, the Bandeja "Casita" adds tamal and calamari for about $34. Mariquitas alone are $8.95 if you'd rather save room.
The room and the hours
Expect a roomy storefront with white tablecloths. It's more family dinner than counter window, and one regular praises it for skipping the lines and chaos of the busier Cuban spots. It holds 4.5 from about 1,900 Google reviews and has been open since 1990. The kitchen opens at 11 am every day and closes at 10 pm, except Saturday, when it runs until 11 pm. There's a separate lunch specials menu, so midday is the cheaper time to come. Delivery and catering are also on offer.
