Good for a Brickell brunch or a weekday happy hour in a striking concrete-and-wood room. The trade-off: it's a hotel restaurant, and its site says far more about the design than about what's on the plate.

The room

Concrete, steel, glass and wood: the interior leans hard into Brutalism, designed by Angel Sanchez of the studio Sanchez Colman. The restaurant says the look also nods to the Tequesta, the people who lived around Brickell for more than 2,000 years. That's more backstory than most hotel dining rooms get. It sits on the first floor of the shared Hotel Indigo and Atwell Suites building on SW 11th Street, so expect travelers with roller bags next to locals on a lunch break. The raw materials make it feel more like a standalone spot than a lobby restaurant. Bring someone who notices interiors.

Breakfast to last call

Breakfast starts at 7 am Monday through Saturday, according to the restaurant's site, and Sunday stretches into a brunch that runs until 2:30 pm. Lunch covers 11:30 am to 2:30 pm every day. Dinner opens at 5:30 pm and goes until 10:30 pm Sunday through Thursday, an hour later on Friday and Saturday.
