Torno Subito
Massimo Bottura's playful Italian restaurant, now on the ground floor of The Moore in the Design District, with a street-side patio.
Vérifié novembre 2026
A splurge for fans of Bottura or a long Design District lunch. Prices sit at four dollar signs, and despite its old rooftop days downtown, there is no rooftop here now.
Tortellini and a burned Key lime pie
Order the tortellini, based on Bottura's childhood favorite and served in a Parmigiano Reggiano sauce. The Michelin Guide also points to the bucatini cacio e pepe topped with candied Florida citrus zest, and to dessert: his famous dropped lemon tart, reworked here as a burned Key lime pie. Other dishes include Florida stone crab in a saor style, tagliatelle with wagyu ragù and a turbot Milanese with saffron mayonnaise. Google rates it 4.7 from about 400 reviews.
A new room in The Moore
The name means I'll be right back, and it fits. Torno Subito first ran downtown with a rooftop terrace, closed, then reopened in early 2026 on the ground floor of The Moore. The design district's own announcement says about 70 percent of the menu carried over and the rest was written for the new neighborhood. A Zaha Hadid sculpture anchors the room, and the patio sits right on the street, painted in Amalfi Coast colors.
Lunch, dinner, closed Sunday
Service runs in two blocks, lunch from 12:30 to 3:30 pm and dinner from 6 to 10 pm, Monday through Saturday. It is closed on Sunday. The bar list leans on negronis, martinis and spritzes, a good excuse for an aperitivo before dinner. Michelin notes that pets are allowed only in the outdoor dining area, and that there is an interesting wine list. A weekday lunch is the gentler way to try it.
Bon à savoir
Dogs are allowed only at the outdoor patio tables.
