Venetian Pool
A spring-fed public pool in Coral Gables, swimming since 1923 and refilled every day from an underground aquifer.
Vérifié novembre 2026
Venetian Pool is a rare historic swim and a great family day. The catch: no children under 3, a summer-weekend crowd that can sell it out, and non-resident tickets at $23.
Spring water, refilled daily
The pool is fed by spring water from an underground aquifer and refilled every day, according to the City of Coral Gables. It has been open to swimmers since 1923, and it rates 4.4 from about 4,200 Google reviews. Tickets stop selling once the pool hits capacity, so on hot weekends arriving at opening is the safest plan. Tickets can also be booked online.
Tickets and the age rule
Non-residents pay $23 for adults 13 and up and $18 for children 3 to 12. Coral Gables residents pay $7 and $6 year-round with proof of residency. Children must be at least 3 years old and 38 inches tall to enter, and age is checked at the gate. If you are traveling with a toddler, plan a different water stop for that day.
Food and hours
You can bring your own food, but coolers, alcohol and glass containers are not allowed; a cafe on site sells a limited menu. The pool opens 11 am to 5:30 pm Tuesday through Friday and 10 am to 4:30 pm on weekends. It is closed on Mondays, except Labor Day, when it keeps weekday hours.
Bon à savoir
