What it costs

$Casual grills
El Toro Loco on Calle Ocho and Ole Ole on Lincoln Road. Neither publishes a price list online, so check the menu at the table; both are relaxed rooms with no dress code that we could find.
$$Steakhouse chains done well
Fleming's in Coral Gables has a bar Social Hour from 3 to 6:30 pm with bites from $7 and cocktails or wine at $9, per its own page. Fogo de Chão on 1st Street in South Beach does the Brazilian rodizio; its page does not show the per-person price.
$$$The set feast
COTE Miami's Butcher's Feast: four cuts of USDA Prime and American Wagyu for $82 a person, plus $32 if you add an ounce of Japanese A5, per its menu page.
$$$$The splurge
COTE's Steak Omakase is $225 a person, with a $110 wine pairing. A5 Kobe ribeye on the same menu is $82 an ounce.

How we picked

This list is short on purpose. Every steakhouse here showed us a working official page in October 2026 with its address and, where it publishes them, its hours. We left out famous names whose current status we could not pin down from their own site.

Miami steak comes in four styles: the American steakhouse (dry-aged Prime, big sides, white tablecloths), the Korean grill where the beef is cooked at your table, the Argentine parrilla over wood fire, and the Brazilian rodizio where servers carve meat until you flip the card. Pick the style first; the neighborhood follows.
