Start at Monty's for the weekday happy hour on the bay, move to Mae's Room for a proper cocktail, and finish at Barracuda or Sandbar if you need a bar open at 2 am.
Monty's Raw Bar
Monty's is the open-air raw bar on the water off South Bayshore Drive, and its weekday happy hour is the best-documented deal in the Grove. Monday to Friday, 4 to 7 pm, except holidays: $8 Pain Removers, $7 margaritas and frozen cocktails, $6 house wines and well drinks, $4 domestic drafts and $5 imports and local craft beer. The raw bar boat serves oysters, peel-and-eat shrimp and stone crabs during happy hour.
Live music runs on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 pm and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6 to 9 pm; a house DJ plays Thursday to Saturday from 6 pm to close. Monty's opens at 11:30 am daily and closes at 10 pm Sunday to Thursday, 11 pm on Friday and Saturday.
Parking is easy for once: Monty's validates three free hours in Miami Parking Authority Lot 72 next door. On weekends the Regatta Harbor garage nearby charges a $10 flat rate.

Mae's Room: the Grove's cocktail den
Mae's Room is the newest serious cocktail bar in the Grove, reviewed by The Infatuation in November 2025. It sits in the courtyard at 3444 Main Highway, Suite 17, behind Chug's Diner, in a space of roughly 750 square feet set up like a living room. The menu leans on classics: martinis and Old Fashioneds are what it is known for.
There is no kitchen. Food comes from Chuggie's, the burger counter from the same group next door, so the OG Burger with a martini is the move. The bar opens at 5 pm Monday to Saturday, with happy hour until 7 pm, and stays open until 2 am early in the week and 3 am Thursday to Saturday. It is closed on Sundays.
Level 6 Rooftop Restaurant Miami
Level 6 sits on the sixth floor above Amal on Main Highway, with views over the Grove to Biscayne Bay. Sunset Hour runs Monday to Friday from 5 to 7 pm, with rotating wines by the glass, sangrias, beers and reduced-price Spanish tapas; on Sundays a late version runs from 7 to 11:30 pm.
Thursday to Saturday it turns into a late spot, open until 1:30 am on Thursday and 2 am on Friday and Saturday. Reservations go to reservations@level6miami.com. The listing gives no prices for the Sunset Hour deals.
Greenstreet Cafe
Greenstreet is a cafe by day and a sidewalk lounge by night, open until 2 am on Friday and Saturday. On a weekend it is the easiest place in the village to keep a table outside after dinner.
It also carries a local Best Bloody Mary award from 2022, which makes it the weekend brunch drink stop as much as a night spot.
Where they are
The late ones: Barracuda and Sandbar
When Monty's closes, the late crowd moves to two bars a few blocks inland. Barracuda Taphouse & Grill, on the pedestrian stretch of Fuller Street, has been open since 1995: craft beer, a snapper sandwich on garlic bread, pool, darts, a jukebox and sports on the TVs. The district listing shows it open until 2 am Monday to Thursday and 3 am Friday to Sunday.
Sandbar Sports Grill at 3064 Grand Avenue is the beach-bar version, with more than 20 TVs, fish tacos and a weekday happy hour that the listing says usually runs from 3 to 7 pm with half-price wells, call drinks, wine and pints. Taco Tuesday starts at about 4 pm. It stays open until 3 am on Friday and Saturday.
Neither bar's hours came from its own website, so treat them as the business district's current listing and call before a late night.
