Texas de Brazil: the best value if you pick the right hour

Texas de Brazil is a Brazilian churrascaria: servers bring skewers of grilled meat to the table until you flip your card, and there is a long salad area. It has two Miami locations, and they price the same at dinner but not at lunch.

Dolphin Mall, at 11401 NW 12th Street, is the one with a weekday lunch. From 11:30 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday the full meal is $44.99, or $23.99 for the salad area only. At dinner and weekend lunch it is $66.99, or $33.99 salad only. Self-parking at the mall is free; mall valet is $8. A weekday happy hour from 4:30 to 6 pm has $5 domestic beers and $7 caipirinhas.

The Miami Beach branch is upstairs at 300 Alton Road, at the marina. It opens for dinner only on weekdays, at 5:30 pm, and serves lunch on Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 pm. Valet costs $12 for the first hour on weekdays and $15 on weekends, cash only, plus $5 for each extra hour; the marina garage has metered parking.

Children eat cheaply with a paying adult: 2 and under free, ages 3 to 5 $5, and ages 6 to 12 half price.

The Hard Rock Hollywood buffet

The Fresh Harvest Buffet at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the closest thing to a Las Vegas buffet near Miami. It reopened on November 24, 2025, with five open-kitchen stations: carved meats and seafood, an Italian station with pizza and pasta, an Asian kitchen with dim sum and noodles, a salad and poke bar, and desserts.

Current prices on the resort's page: lunch $34.95 Monday to Friday until 5 pm, dinner $44.95 Monday to Thursday and $54.95 Friday to Sunday, and weekend brunch $54.95 from 10 am to 5 pm. Unity by Hard Rock members get $5 off full price. Parties of 8 or more pay an automatic 18% gratuity.

It sits at the base of the Hard Rock Hotel Tower, 1 Seminole Way in Hollywood, in Broward County. Holiday dinners last year cost $79.95 for Thanksgiving and Christmas; the resort has not posted 2026 holiday prices on the pages we opened.

Fogo de Chão, Golden Corral and the Biltmore brunch

Fogo de Chão at 836 1st Street in South Beach runs the same skewer format as Texas de Brazil. Its location page lists lunch Monday to Friday from noon to 3 pm, weekend brunch from noon to 2 pm and dinner from the afternoon on, but does not show the price of the churrasco meal. Check the menu link or call 305-672-0011. Valet is $20 at weekday lunch and $30 at dinner and on weekends, and the bar runs an all-day happy hour Monday to Thursday with $6 beers and $10 cocktails.

Golden Corral is the American buffet chain, and its Miami-area restaurant is in Hialeah at 1734 W 49th Street. It opens at 11 am on weekdays and at 8 am on Saturday and Sunday for breakfast. Its page does not list prices.

For a Sunday splurge, the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables runs a Sunday brunch from 10 am to 2 pm with carving and breakfast stations, a caviar bar, seafood, sushi, desserts and bottomless bubbly. The hotel's page does not post the price and recommends booking.
