Hard Rock Stadium seating chart: the levels, the clubs, the shade and the accessible sections
How the Hard Rock Stadium bowl is laid out: the 100, 200 and 300 levels, where each club sits, what the canopy shades and where to check your view.
In breve
- Levels: 100 lower bowl, 200C and 200M club and suites, 300 upper bowl.
- South sideline: 72 Club at midfield and The Nine at the 50-yard line, both on the 100 level.
- North sideline: Lexus North Sideline Club between the 30-yard lines, sections 117 to 119.
- Shade: The 2016 canopy was built to shade about 92 percent of fans.
- Air conditioning: In the club lounges on 200C and 200M and below the Lexus Sideline Club.
For a Dolphins game, the 200-level club seats are the weather-protected middle of the bowl with air-conditioned lounges, the 100 level puts you closest to the field, and the canopy shades most but not all seats, so check the virtual view before you buy.
How the bowl is laid out
Hard Rock Stadium has three seating levels. The 100 level is the lower bowl around the field. The 200 level, split into 200C and 200M, is the Empower Club and Suite Level, with club seats and suites. The 300 level is the upper bowl.
The two long sidelines are north and south, and the end zones are east and west. The premium spaces on the field side tell you where you are: the south sideline has the 72 Club and The Nine, the north sideline has the Lexus North Sideline Club, the Bud Light Touchdown Club is on the field behind the east end zone, and the Gallagher Club is on the field behind the west end zone.
A renovation finished for the 2015 season replaced every seat, rebuilt the 100 and 300 concourses, cut capacity from 76,018 to 65,326 and moved seats 25 feet closer to the field on the north and south sidelines. Those are the team's figures from 2016; the capacity for concerts and other events can differ.

The stadium's pages disagree slightly on the 72 Club: the A to Z guide says between the 35-yard lines, the club FAQ says between the 40s. Both put it on the south side at midfield.

Shade and rain: what the canopy covers
The canopy added in 2016 was designed to keep about 92 percent of fans in the shade and out of the rain, up from 17 percent in the old stadium, according to the Dolphins. It covers the seating bowl and leaves the field open.
That still leaves some seats in the sun. The Dolphins say so about their own Lexus Sideline Club, where some seats are sunny depending on the time of year. The team does not publish a section-by-section shade map, so if shade matters, look at the seat in the Dolphins' Virtual Stadium Views before you pay, and favor the 200 level, which the stadium describes as weather protected.
Every event runs rain or shine, and umbrellas are not allowed, for safety and sightlines.
