What Garage A costs

PortMiami publishes rates for every garage it runs, but for Garage A it only points to royalmiamiparking.com for rates and reservations. When we opened that site in October 2026, the price loaded only inside the booking form, so we cannot quote it here.

Travel blogs repeat Terminal A prices from 2022. Those are years old, so ignore them and read the price on the booking page when you pick your dates. For comparison, the port's own long-term rate next door is $28 a day at Garages C, D, F, G and Lot E, and $35 at Garages AA and B.

How booking works

Royal Caribbean's FAQ says guests sailing from Terminal A can book parking in advance. You need the cruise date and ship, a credit card and, if you have it, the license plate. After booking, a QR code arrives by email and is scanned at the gate to enter the garage.

Reservations close at midnight the night before the cruise and are sold first come, first served, based on availability. Refunds are at the discretion of SP+, which runs the garage, and are not Royal Caribbean's responsibility.

RVs, oversized vans and vehicles with trailers go to Surface Lot E, 625 Florida Way, which has no roof: $25 per space per day, or $50 for two spaces.

Without a car

Royal Caribbean runs a Florida Bus Program through Cruise Connection of Florida; for rates, availability and pickup points, it gives its reservations line, (800) 327-6700.

Otherwise, taxis wait at every terminal on cruise days and rideshare cars use designated zones. The free option from downtown is the Metromover to Freedom Tower and the City of Miami's Coral Way Trolley across the PortMiami Bridge.

Disabled parking and veterans

PortMiami says every garage has designated disabled spaces. Permit holders pay the standard rate with the first two hours free, vehicles with ramps, lifts or hand controls are exempt, and Florida disabled-veteran plates park free with the veteran in the car.
