What the ticket gets you
Wynwood Walls is a fenced, open-air street-art museum inside the Wynwood Arts District. The ticket covers the murals and sculptures inside the walls, and every general admission ticket includes a free spray-painting experience, per the admissions page.
Most of the murals you see on Instagram from Wynwood are not inside the Walls at all. The streets around NW 2nd Avenue and NW 25th and 26th Street are covered in paint and cost nothing to walk. What you pay for is the curated set inside: rotating murals by well-known artists, sculptures, the indoor exhibitions at Goldman Global Arts Gallery and a space to sit in the middle of the busiest blocks in Wynwood.
That makes the $12 fair if you care about who painted what. If you only want photos in front of colorful walls, walk the free streets first and decide after.
Free entry for Miami-Dade residents
Wynwood Walls says any resident with a valid photo ID or student ID showing a Miami-Dade County address gets in free until 2028. You create a free digital membership on the Wynwood Walls site or at the Welcome Center, add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and show it at the door.
Children under 12 are always free, and residents can add every family member under 18 to the same membership. The free entry covers the murals and sculptures, the indoor gallery shows and the spray-painting experience, during open hours. Visitors from outside Miami-Dade pay the standard prices.
The home page presents the locals offer with Rockstar Games and promotes a separate VI x Wynwood Walls merchandise pre-sale; the merchandise is a shop item, not part of admission.
Wynwood Walls
Open from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, per its Hours and Directions page, with doors closing 30 minutes before closing time. It closes early for private events now and then; the admissions page posts those dates, so check it on the day.
Inside there is an onsite café, and Wynwood Walls is an IBCCES Certified Autism Center with staff trained in sensory awareness. Only service animals and emotional-support animals are allowed.
Getting there and parking
The Walls list Wynwood Garage at 311 NW 26th St as the easy option: covered, open 24/7 and bookable ahead on ParkMobile. Its own page puts the garage at roughly $20 to $40 depending on how long you stay, with higher prices on event days.
Street meters around the Walls take PayByPhone and ParkMobile. Expect heavy traffic and full blocks on weekends and during the Art Walk on the second Saturday of each month; the Walls suggest arriving early or using the garage on those days. A rideshare to NW 2nd Avenue skips the problem entirely.
