Salty Flame
A Brickell steakhouse with an Asian streak: tomahawks, sushi rolls, kimchi-dressed starters and $18 cocktails.
Verificato ottobre 2026
Good for a Brickell date or birthday dinner where half the table wants steak and half wants sushi. It's $$$, and it pays off most when you time the deals: Tomahawk nights, half-price wine Wednesdays, weekday happy hour.
Steak with a soy accent
The kitchen runs a steakhouse menu through an Asian filter, so the starters lean on kimchi vinaigrette and chili crisp rather than shrimp cocktail. The steak tartare ($24) gets truffle aioli, pickled cabbage and a cured quail egg yolk. Korean fried chicken ($21) comes in a sweet gochujang glaze, and the siu mai ($21) are shrimp and pork with chili crisp oil. There are rolls, sashimi, bowls and wood-fired mains too. It's $$$ overall, and 4.6 from about 1,100 Google reviews says most people leave happy. The room sits on the Brickell Avenue spot where Novecento ran for over 25 years.
Timing the deals
Most of the value here depends on the day. Sunday through Tuesday, the Tomahawk special gets you the steak, house fries or salad, and a full bottle of Cabernet for $130, which is the move for two. Wednesdays take 50% off every bottle of wine. Salty Hour runs weekdays 4 to 7 pm, with a Wagyu burger, house fries and Kirin beer combo. Weekday lunch starts at noon, with three set options: Express at $19, Executive at $29 or a bowl at $22, pitched squarely at the Brickell office crowd.
Cocktails, birthdays and back rooms
Signature cocktails run $18 to $19: a Spicy Guava Margarita with Don Julio, a Chinola and kaffir lime drink called the Chinolita, and a mezcal-espresso number named No Sleep Til' Oaxaca. Thursdays at 6 pm bring ImproDrink, a secret monthly cocktail made with a live performance and a DJ. Parties of six or more can book a celebration dinner with a neon sign, sparklers, a prosecco toast and a signature dessert. For anything bigger, two private rooms hold 60 and 12 people.
