Carillon Miami Wellness Resort
An oceanfront wellness resort at 68th and Collins with a 70,000-square-foot spa, four pools and apartment-style suites.
Checked November 2026
Best for a spa-first beach stay or a full day of thermal circuits and high-tech treatments. The trade-off: it's a quiet stretch of Collins well north of the South Beach scene, and the medical-wellness pitch won't be for everyone.
The spa is the point
The spa and wellness center covers 70,000 square feet, and the resort bills it as the largest on the Eastern Seaboard. At its center is the Thermal Experience, a water circuit modeled on European bathing traditions. Past that, the menu gets medical and a little out there: IV therapy, cryotherapy, a floating salt bath, LightStim light beds, chakra balancing and access to doctors under the same roof. The idea is custom plans that mix Western, Eastern, alternative and aesthetic medicine. Take the health claims with the usual grain of salt. Still, few places in Miami put this many gadget treatments in one building.
Rooms that are apartments
Every unit is a one- or two-bedroom apartment with a separate living room, a full kitchen and a spa-style bathroom, and they rank among the largest in Miami Beach. Floor-to-ceiling windows face either the Atlantic or the skyline, so ask which side you're getting. The beds are Bryte Balance smart beds: scan a QR code to set firmness for each side, add gentle motion synced to audio, or track your sleep stages. On a long wellness stay, that kitchen matters more than it sounds. Outside, four pools face the ocean on one of the longer beachfront stretches in the city.
Not staying over
Locals can get in too: the resort sells day experiences, day retreats and private fitness classes. The gym has Technogym cardio and strength gear with ocean views, a schedule of 65-plus classes a week and one-on-one training if you want it. Families get rock climbing, and there's an on-site farmers market. For something longer, the Inner Glow retreat, run with the biostation, spends five days and four nights on menopause and perimenopause. Google has it at 4.2 from about 920 reviews, solid rather than glowing, which fits a big resort where the spa tends to get the praise.
