Best for a long, slow treatment day with pool time attached. The catch: prices aren't posted, the pools only come free past $200 in services, and the gym is for hotel guests and members only.

The circuit and the lounge

Esencia takes up 22,000 square feet inside Eden Roc Miami Beach, and the part worth planning around is the hydrotherapy circuit. It comes with a big relaxation lounge that looks out over the pools. That's the real value: a facial or massage stretches into a half day if you arrive early and linger after. The regular menu covers signature treatments, facials and body work, and there's a separate Omakase spa menu too, so ask the desk how that one works. The site doesn't list prices, so check the menu or call before you commit.

Spend $200, get the pools

Spend more than $200 on spa services and use of the Eden Roc pools comes with it, which turns a treatment into a pool day on Collins. Locals can also ask about a day pass for the amenities without booking a room. Monthly specials run alongside the signature packages, worth a look if you're flexible about what you book. The spa is open 9:30 am to 6:30 pm every day, so this is a daytime plan, not an evening one. Google reviewers give it 4.5 from about 360 reviews, solid for a hotel spa.

Salon, gym and the 4525 club

The salon handles manicures, pedicures, cuts, color, blowouts, makeup and lashes, useful before a wedding or a big night. The oceanfront gym runs 24 hours with Technogym equipment and free daily classes from yoga to pilates to HIIT, but only for Eden Roc and Nobu Hotel guests and members. That membership, called 4525 after the address, bundles pool and beach access, hydrotherapy, a $100 monthly spa credit, 15% off retail, one guest per visit and a preferred parking rate. Call for a tour if you live nearby and would actually use it weekly.
