Factory Town
A former mattress factory in Hialeah turned into seven acres of open-air stages and warehouses for Insomniac's dance music events.
Checked November 2026
For electronic music fans who want a big, gritty, all-night outdoor party close to the airport. The trade-off: no parking, strict ID rules, and hours that depend entirely on the show.
Seven acres of steel
This was a mattress factory. Now it's seven acres of warehouses, outdoor stages and bare concrete in Hialeah, run by Insomniac, and most of it sits under open sky. The lineup leans hard toward house and bass, with multi-stage, multi-day events alongside single-artist nights, plus a Factory Basel series for Art Basel week. Shows run from dusk and often push toward dawn, so plan for a long night. There are no fixed hours: door times change by event, so go by what's on your ticket. It holds 4.2 from about 560 Google reviews, which fits a place loved for the scale and grumbled about for logistics.
The door
Bring a physical, valid government ID or you're not getting in. Most events are 18+, and you need to be 21 for alcohol or a VIP table. Digital IDs, school IDs, consular IDs, expired cards and photocopies are all refused. A foreign driver's license works only with a color copy of your passport, and it won't get you the 21+ wristband, so travelers should carry the actual passport. Leave outside drinks, containers, cameras, laser pointers and noisemakers at home. If plans fall through, transfer your ticket to a friend in the DICE app rather than buying or selling on the side, since unauthorized resale gets tickets voided.
Getting there and home
There's no onsite parking, and the venue says so plainly. Take a rideshare or carpool. Ignore anyone near the venue claiming to be staff running a lot, because they aren't, and cars parked where they shouldn't be get towed. The location helps: it's about 3 miles from Miami International Airport, 5 from Wynwood and 7 from Downtown. For a multi-day event, VIP buys anytime entry, raised viewing decks, separate bars and food, and air-conditioned bathroom trailers with attendants, which matters more than it sounds by 3 am. Lost something? Guest Services is in a container near the north entrance.
Parking
No onsite parking, and anyone near the venue claiming to be parking staff isn't affiliated with it.
Good to know
Bring a physical ID: digital IDs, school IDs and photocopies are refused at the door.
