For people who want a sit-down meal on Ocean Drive at almost any hour, breakfast through last call. The trade-off: a mandatory 20% charge and a card surcharge push the bill well past menu prices.
Breakfast until 1 pm
Breakfast runs 8:30 am to 1 pm, and it's the most fun part of the menu. Easy Breakfast is $11 for two fried eggs, potatoes and toast. From there it climbs fast: Manny's Lobster Omelet and the lobster Benedict are both $33, and steak and eggs is $34. Elvira's Giant Cinnamon Roll is $14 and built for sharing. Shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles and Banana Foster French toast cover the rest. It's strip pricing, but a morning table on Ocean Drive before the crowds arrive is the calmest version of this place.
The check
Read the bottom of the menu. A mandatory 20% operations charge goes on every check. It's a business fee, not a tax, and it's separate from any tip. Sales tax comes on top, and paying by card adds a 3% surcharge. So the $63 rib eye (16 oz, boneless) or the $55 filet lands well above the printed price. Google lists it at $$, which is generous given those numbers. None of this is hidden, but decide on any extra tip deliberately instead of doubling up out of habit.
After 8 pm: the speakeasy
The dining room is open 8 am to 2 am every day. The site also lists a speakeasy bar from 8 pm to 5 am with its own food and drinks menu, which makes it one of the later options on this stretch. The restaurant talks up live music, handcrafted cocktails, a big wine display and a 1980s Miami glamour look. There are heated outdoor patios, a terrace and private rooms if you're bringing a group.
