Panamericano Bar
A Latin American cocktail bar that takes the continent seriously, from pisco to cachaça.
Checked October 2026
Panamericano is the Brickell bar for the second drink of the night: a menu built on Latin spirits, bartenders who know the stories behind them, and a room that stays lively past midnight.
Why you go
Because most Brickell bars pour the same vodka sodas and this one does not. The list runs the length of the Americas, pisco and mezcal and cachaça and rum, in cocktails that are made properly and arrive quickly. It is dark, warm and loud in the good way, and it fills with people who live nearby rather than people who just checked in.
When to go
Weeknights after nine, when it is full but you can still reach the bar. Friday and Saturday it goes late, and the 2 am close is real. Come after dinner rather than for it.
Know before you go
Mid-priced for Brickell, $$ on the menu with a few $$$ pours. No reservations needed for a small group; a table for six on a weekend is worth a call.
Getting there
- The nearest Metromover station is Tenth Street Promenade, about 3 minutes on foot. Metrobus (route 95) stops at South Miami Avenue @ Southeast 9th Street, 1 minute away. Parking, according to Google: valet, a free lot and free street parking.
Questions people ask
Does Panamericano serve food?
Small plates to go with the drinks, not a full dinner. Eat first in Brickell and come here after.
How late is Panamericano open?
Until 2 am every night, with the last seating well after midnight.
Is it a club?
No. It is a cocktail bar with music loud enough to feel like a night out, but people sit, talk and drink rather than dance.
