Miami Bayfront Cruises

A bay cruise and tour operator on Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami, open every day from morning until late evening.

Good for first-timers who want a simple look at Miami from the water without much planning. The catch: with no working website, details like routes, prices and boarding times have to be confirmed before you go.

Where it sits

The address is 301 Biscayne Blvd, right on the downtown waterfront facing Biscayne Bay. That puts it in the busiest stretch of Downtown for visitors, so you can pair it with a walk along the water before or after. Give yourself time to find the right spot to check in, since this part of the boulevard draws plenty of foot traffic and several operators sell bay trips nearby.

What the reviews say

It holds a 4.3 from about 440 Google reviews, which is solid, not spectacular. That's about what you'd expect from a tourist boat operation: most people leave happy, and a few don't. Google files it as a tourist attraction, a tour agency and a travel agency, so expect a sales desk as much as a dock. Ask exactly what's included before you pay, and how long the trip runs.

Timing your trip

Hours run 9 am to 10 pm Monday through Wednesday and 9 am to midnight Thursday through Sunday. Those late hours on the back half of the week give you more room for an evening on the water. Those are office hours, though, not a departure schedule. The website wasn't reachable when we checked, so call or stop by to confirm sailing times and prices before planning your day around a specific trip.
