Miami Everglades Connection Airboat Tours
A family-run airboat outfit on FL-90 west of Miami, running private, shared and winter sunset rides through the Everglades.
Checado em outubro de 2026
Good for first-timers who want the Everglades without a theme-park airboat stop. Private tours put you on a boat with only your group, but they cost real money, and gators never show up on schedule.
Picking your boat
There are three options. The semi-private ride is the cheap one: one hour, $60 per guest ages 13 and up, on a shared boat with up to 10 people. Private tours start at $200 for up to two guests and run 1, 1.5 or 2 hours, so you set the pace and the stops. From November through March there's a 1.5-hour sunset tour, priced from $375 for two. A couple on a budget should take the shared hour. A family or anyone celebrating should look at a private run.
Out on the water
The guides are locals. One is a Miami native who has guided professionally since 2019, and another is a South Florida naturalist focused on reptiles and wetland life. The company has been running since 2016 and holds a 5.0 from about 470 Google reviews. Water, life jackets and hearing protection are included, and airboats are loud, so you'll use the ear protection. The site says plainly that alligator and bird sightings aren't guaranteed. Since February 2026, drought and low water have meant capacity gets adjusted daily, so confirm your slot shortly before you go.
The drive and the ramp
The ramp is on FL-90 at 5334, about 22 minutes from Miami International Airport and 27 from Miami Beach. That's close enough to fit around a flight or a beach day. Tours run every day from 8 am to 6 pm. There are no bathrooms at the ramp, so stop somewhere on the way out. Full payment is due when you book. Cancel less than 24 hours ahead and you get half back. If they cancel for weather, you get a full refund.
Reservas
Full payment is due at booking, and cancelling within 24 hours of departure gets you only a 50% refund.
Bom saber
There are no bathrooms at the ramp, so use one before you arrive.
