Sunshine wellness spa

A South Beach massage spa on Collins Avenue with hour-long treatments from $81, a couples option and late hours every day.

For a no-fuss hour of deep tissue, Thai or reflexology steps from the beach at prices well under resort spas. It's a massage shop, not a pool-and-sauna day spa, so book it for the treatment, not the setting.

What it costs

Deep tissue, Swedish with hot stones, foot reflexology and the body-plus-foot combo all run $81 for an hour, which is fair for Collins this close to the sand. Thai, lymphatic drainage, prenatal and aromatherapy massage are $91. Cupping with massage is the priciest single hour at $111, and a couples massage is $162 for two. Aromatherapy is the one treatment with longer sessions listed: $130 for 90 minutes and $166 for two hours. Waxing is on the menu with no posted price, so call for that one.

The treatments worth booking

Foot reflexology gets its own hour here, but the combo that pairs it with a body massage costs the same $81, so that's the smarter pick. Deep tissue is the obvious choice after a few days of walking Ocean Drive. Prenatal and lymphatic drainage are both on the list, which is handy if you're traveling pregnant or want something gentler. Cupping costs more and isn't for everyone. A 4.4 from about 200 Google reviews says most people leave happy, though not every visit lands perfectly.

Booking and timing

Doors open at 9 am and close at 10 pm every day of the week, so an evening massage after a beach afternoon is easy to fit in. The site takes online bookings in one-hour slots, and there's a phone line for everything else. Payment is set up for in person, not online. The spa sits in Bay A1 at 1300 Collins Avenue, around 13th Street, a short walk from most South Beach hotels. Couples can book together for the two-person session.

Reservas

Online booking only shows one-hour slots, so call if you want the 90-minute or two-hour aromatherapy session.

Bom saber

Payment is taken in person at the spa, not online when you book.
