Hotels near Kaseya Center: which ones you can walk from, and how to get back after a late game
Six downtown hotels near Kaseya Center, what each one's own site says about the walk and parking, and the late-night catch with the Metromover.

I started this guide because of one line on the Kaseya Center's parking page: the lots right next to the arena have been permanently eliminated. That changes the math for a concert or a Heat game. Parking is now a walk anyway, the free Metromover stops at 10 pm, and every rideshare in downtown is heading for the same corner when the doors open. A hotel within walking distance is the one choice that removes all three problems. Below are the downtown hotels whose own websites we checked in October 2026, with what each one actually says about the arena and about parking.

Why the walk matters more than the hotel
Kaseya Center is at 601 Biscayne Boulevard. The arena says the parking lots directly next to it have been permanently eliminated and suggests flat-rate lots within walking distance instead. So even drivers now finish the trip on foot.
Leaving is where it gets slow. Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is at the corner of Bayshore Drive and HEAT Boulevard, by Gate 6, and taxis use Gate 3 on NE 8th Street. When the arena empties, everyone who booked a car is heading for that one corner. From citizenM or YVE you skip that queue and walk.
Transit helps on the way in. Kaseya Center's route is Metrorail to Government Center, then the Metromover Omni Loop to Park West station, then a short walk east to Biscayne Boulevard. Metrorail can run until 1 am after special events at the arena, but Miami-Dade lists Metromover hours as 5:30 am to 10 pm, so after a late finish the free people mover is not your ride back.

Hotel by hotel
citizenM Miami Worldcenter is the closest of the group. Its own site places it right in front of Kaseya Center, a 1-minute walk from the Freedom Tower Metromover station and a 9-minute walk from MiamiCentral, the Brightline station. It does not run a garage, so drivers should read the parking instructions the hotel emails after booking.
YVE Hotel Miami sits on Biscayne Boulevard south of the arena, and its site calls the Kaseya Center a short walk away. It is also the one hotel here that sells a room offer with a shuttle from the hotel to PortMiami, which is useful if the game is the night before a cruise.
YOTEL Miami is a block inland on NE 2nd Street and lists the arena at about a 10-minute walk. Standard check-in is after 3 pm and early check-in before 2 pm costs $55, which matters if you arrive on a game-day morning. There is no parking at the hotel.
Hilton Miami Downtown is the farthest north, at 1601 Biscayne Boulevard, and Hilton lists the arena at 0.70 miles. InterContinental Miami is the farthest south, on the bay by Bayfront Park; it publishes its parking rates but not a walking time to the arena.
