Puttshack Miami and the other mini golf worth playing
Puttshack Miami charges $18 for nine holes in Brickell City Centre. Here are its hours and age rules, plus Puttery in Wynwood and the cheap county course.

Puttshack Miami: how the pricing works
Puttshack is on the fourth level of Brickell City Centre's North Block. Park in C Block and take the Puttshack elevator straight up. It is mini golf with a bar and a kitchen attached: the balls track your score automatically, and each nine-hole course takes about 30 to 45 minutes.
The price sheet has two options. A single 9-hole course is $18 per player for adults and for teens 13 to 17, and $10 for juniors 12 and under, every day. Unlimited golf, sold Sunday to Friday, is $25 per player on Sunday and $30 Monday to Friday for adults and teens, and $15 for juniors. One course is enough for most groups; unlimited makes sense only if you plan to play all of them.
The deal to know is $9 After 9, Thursday to Saturday: nine holes for $9, with $9 mixed drinks and $9 shareables, using the code 9AFTER9 at checkout. On weekdays, happy hour brings $1 wings and $3 draft beer, though the page does not list the hours.
The catch is the age rule. After 9 pm on Friday and Saturday, everyone must be 18 or older with a physical ID, and the last tee time on those nights is 8 pm. The venue is cashless. Walk-ins are first come, first served, and Puttshack strongly suggests booking for nights and weekends.
Puttery
Three themed nine-hole courses, the Rooftop, the Lodge and the Library, for 27 holes in all, a short walk from the Wynwood Walls. One price covers unlimited play: $25 for adults, all day, every day, and $15 for kids 17 and under, Sunday to Thursday and before 5 pm on Friday and Saturday.
After 5 pm on Friday and Saturday it is 18 and up with photo ID. Drinks run all day at $5 for beer, cider and seltzer, $7 drafts and $10 cocktails. Valet is offered, and weekend slots fill, so book online; reservations open 21 days ahead. It is closed on Mondays.

The old-school course: Palmetto Mini Golf
If you want mini golf rather than a bar with putters, the county runs an 18-hole outdoor course at Palmetto Golf Course, 9300 SW 152nd Street, the same road as Zoo Miami. Its own site lists $10 a player per round Monday to Thursday and $12 Friday to Sunday and on holidays. The county parks page lists daily hours of 10 am to 9 pm with the last tee time at 8 pm, but that page also still shows lower rates, so call the course before a special trip.
Outdoor means weather. A summer thunderstorm stops play, so aim for a morning or an evening under the lights.
Bird Bowl, a bowling center at 9275 SW 40th Street, adds a nine-hole glow-in-the-dark course. Its site lists mini golf at $6 from 6 pm to midnight as a special, so check the current price before you go.
