Vegan restaurants in Miami, FL: the fully plant-based kitchens still open in 2026

The short answer: fewer vegan restaurants, but the good ones are steady

Miami's all-vegan scene is smaller than it was a few years ago. The Infatuation's vegan guide now marks Planta Queen in Coconut Grove, Minty Z, The Last Carrot, Manna Life Food, L'Artisane Creative Bakery and Happy Vegan Bakers Cafe as closed. What is left is a handful of kitchens where you never have to ask what is in the sauce.

Love Life Cafe in Wynwood is the one to plan around. Its site calls it 100% vegan, with no fryers, and it is open every day from 9 am to 10 pm. It no longer takes reservations, so a weekend dinner means a short wait or an early table.

Everything in this guide is fully vegan unless we say otherwise, so it all works for vegetarians too. If you only need a vegetarian option in a mixed group, most of these places serve dishes that meat eaters order on purpose, which is the real test.

Vegan Cuban food, and the sanctuary cafe that came back

Vegan Cuban Cuisine is the reason to drive west. It is a family-run, fully plant-based restaurant at 9640 SW 72nd Street in Kendall, open every day from 8 am to 9 pm, with breakfast served all day and lunch from 11 am. The cooking is the Cuban canon done without meat: croquetas, empanadas, a Cuban sandwich, picadillo and pastelitos. It does not take phone orders; order online or walk in.

Aguacate, the vegan garden and animal sanctuary at 12100 SW 43rd Street in Kendall Lakes, closed in September 2024 and reopened in April 2026. Hoodline reported limited soft-launch hours that would expand later, with the Madurito Burrito and a seitan pan con bistec back on the menu and the rescued farm animals back on show. Little River and Brickell

The Plantisserie at 7316 NE 2nd Avenue is a deli and market more than a restaurant. Come for baked empanadas, bowls, sandwiches and prepared food sold by the pound, plus a shelf of local vegan snacks to take back to the hotel. It opens at 11 am, closes at 8 pm Monday to Saturday and at 4 pm on Sunday, and catering needs three days' notice.

In Brickell, The Cocinita at 70 SE 5th Street is all vegan, with Latin American and comfort food: pea-protein burgers, cachapas and bowls. Its listed hours disagree from one site to the next, so call before you go.
