Built for birthday tables, bachelorettes and groups who want brunch as a show. The food is fine and the energy is the product, so a quiet coffee and eggs this isn't.

What's on the plate

Bacon runs through much of the menu, which splits into Breakfast Bitch, Special Bitch, Lunch Bitch and Sweet Bitch, plus Lil' Bitch and Side Bitches sections. Steak and eggs gets pushed hard on the restaurant's social feed, and there's an almond butter toast if you want something lighter. The kitchen does breakfast and lunch, so a 1 pm table isn't stuck with pancakes. Prices sit at $$, fair for a tourist-zone brunch with this much theater. Mimosas are the point at Bayside, and the restaurant says so itself, pitching them as part of a waterfront brunch. Sundays get billed as Sunday Service, with a cognac brand in the glass on recent weekends. Booking the celebration

Birthdays, bachelorettes, bachelor parties, anniversaries and graduations are the core business, and special celebrations get booked by email instead of the regular form. Normal tables go through the reservations page, where you'll pick between Bayside and South Beach, so choose carefully. This branch is inside Bayside Marketplace on Biscayne Boulevard, the easier pick if you're staying downtown or want to pair brunch with the marketplace shops. Google lists 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 6 pm on weekends.
