For anyone who wants a late, loud night in South Miami that feels like a house party in an old wooden cottage. The trade-off: there's no kitchen, Thursdays skew college, and it's 21 and over only.

The cottage and the yard

The building is a 1920s Florida cottage, and the bar has been running in it since 2000. Google sums it up as a collegial, boozy hideaway with dark-wood paneling and a leafy patio, which matches what the bar says about itself. Inside feels close and a little cramped in the good way. Pick your night
