CVI.CHE 105
The Peruvian restaurant Miami learned ceviche from, still packed fourteen years in.

CVI.CHE 105 is the safe, excellent answer to "Peruvian in Miami": a long ceviche list, lomo saltado that converts people, and a downtown room that has been full since it opened.
Why you go
Because Juan Chipoco's restaurant made ceviche a Miami thing before everyone else caught up, and it still does the version people compare the others to. The menu is large: a page of ceviches and tiraditos, Nikkei plates with Japanese influence, causas, lomo saltado and the kind of pisco sours that end a lunch early. Service is fast and the room is bright and busy.
When to go
Lunch on a weekday is the easy slot. Dinner on weekends means a wait unless you book. The downtown location is the original and the one with the character; the others in Aventura and Sawgrass are copies.
Know before you go
Portions are generous, so order ceviche to share and one main each. $$$ with most plates in the twenties and thirties. Parking downtown is garage parking; the Metromover stops two blocks away.
Как добраться
- The nearest Metromover station is First Street, about 3 minutes on foot. The free trolley stops at Biscayne Boulevard & Northeast 2nd Street, 2 minutes away. Parking, according to Google: valet, a paid lot, paid street parking and free street parking.
