What to order

The pitch is a coastal Italian fish market, and the restaurant says seafood comes in daily, so start with fish rather than steak. Homemade pasta and wood-oven pizza fill out the menu, and Google lists it as an oyster bar too, so raw plates are worth asking about. The wine list leans Italian, and there's a full cocktail menu. Kids get their own short menu: chicken fingers, grilled cheese, spaghetti and meatballs, or spaghetti in pink sauce with chicken. Desserts are on a separate list. The street is the draw and the catch: it's one of South Beach's most photographed blocks, so expect crowds walking past and a tourist-heavy dining room. Hours are generous. It opens at noon most days and runs until 11:30 pm, with Friday and Saturday starting at 11:30 am and going until midnight. That makes it a solid late dinner after the beach. Large parties are a focus here, with a dedicated group dining option, so it works for birthdays and family nights where everyone wants something different. There's a sister location in Las Vegas at the Venetian, but this is the original Miami one.
