Off The Wall Kendall is a good indoor energy burn for kids from about 4 to early teens; the trade-off is a drive to Kendall, waivers and grip socks to sort out, and loud weekends packed with birthday parties.

Why you go

Kids bounce on open trampoline courts, play dodgeball, take on balance and obstacle features and then spend tokens in the arcade. There is a smaller area for younger kids. It rates 4.8 from 2,638 Google reviews. Jump sessions are sold by time, so most families stay one to two hours. It works best for kids who can handle a busy, bouncy room; parents usually watch from the sides.

When to go

Google lists Monday to Thursday 12 pm to 9 pm, Friday 12 pm to 11 pm, Saturday 10 am to 11 pm and Sunday 10 am to 9 pm. Weekday afternoons right after opening are the calmest. Saturdays fill with birthday parties, so book a time slot ahead. It is fully indoors, which makes it a strong rainy day and hot afternoon option.

Know before you go

Jump prices, socks and attractions vary by session; check current prices on their site. A waiver is needed for every jumper, so sign it online before you go. Trampoline parks generally require grip socks, so ask about them when you book. It is in Kendall, about 30 minutes southwest of downtown by car, with parking at the plaza. Bring water bottles and comfortable clothes without zippers or buckles.
