The spa is why this one lands on our wellness list, but the sources we checked don't share a treatment menu or a price list. Call before you plan a day around a specific massage or facial, and ask about the spa's hours separately. The hotel itself is open 24 hours, which tells you nothing about when the treatment rooms are staffed. On the plus side, the property holds a 4.4 from about 3,900 Google reviews, a solid number for a large beach hotel that sees this much traffic.

Pool, tiki bar, ocean

The hotel sits right on the ocean, so the sand is part of the property rather than a walk across Collins. Closer in, there's a landscaped pool with a tiki bar, the classic Miami Beach setup of a drink in one hand and a towel in the other. It's a resort hotel, so plan on the pool being the social center on warm afternoons. If you want calm, book spa time and treat the pool as the warm-up, not the main event.

Eating and events

There's a farm-to-table restaurant on site, handy when you'd rather not leave after a treatment or a beach day. We couldn't check its menu or hours, so confirm before counting on dinner there. The Palms also works as a wedding and event venue, which means some weekends may bring a party onto the grounds. That's a plus if you're the one celebrating and worth asking about if you've booked a quiet getaway.
