For groups who want a captain, a cooler and a sandbar without driving the boat themselves. The trade-off: it works with partner vendors, so confirm exactly which boat and which dock you're getting.

Picking a boat

The cheapest way out is the 22-foot boat: up to six people, 2 to 8 hours, starting at $360. The 29-foot Giant Comfort, a Sea Ray Sundeck, takes up to 11 from $485, and booking two of them covers up to 22 people from $900. Above that it climbs: a 31-foot from $600, a 34-foot from $850, and a 37-foot for up to 13 from $1,600 with a four-hour minimum. The site says fees are included, but those are starting prices, so get the full quote in writing before you commit. There's also an Azimut 60 yacht if the budget is a different conversation.

Where the boat goes

Three set routes do most of the work. Star Island is two hours past the waterfront mansions, a good pick if your group mostly wants to look. Raccoon Island runs three hours, with swimming off a quieter patch of Biscayne Bay. Haulover Sandbar is four hours and the liveliest of the three, which is exactly how the site sells it. Every trip comes with a captain, so nobody in your group has to drive or skip a drink. The sunset cruise, with the skyline lighting up on the way back, is the one to book for a date or a birthday.

The Flagler Street address is an office, Suite 904, not a dock. Most boats leave from 518 West Avenue in Miami Beach, the 31-foot boat from Mid Beach, and the 34-foot from a flexible spot. Booking is by appointment only, and they're open 8 am to 8 pm every day. You can bring your own drinks; coolers, safety gear and a Bluetooth speaker are on board. Some boats come from partner vendors, so ask which one you're getting. The track record looks solid: 5.0 from about 110 Google reviews, and they've been running trips since 2015.
