For people who go out for the music and want to dance close to the DJ until dawn. Drinks are expensive, and it opens only Friday to Sunday.

No stage, just the floor

There is one big room and the DJ booth sits in the middle of it. The Infatuation notes there is no stage: acts play at eye level on the dance floor. The space used to be the Libertine bar, walled off from Club Space's first floor, and it now runs as the intimate sister room to the megaclub next door. It holds a 4.0 from about 370 Google reviews.

Who shows up

The crowd, by most accounts, cares more about the music than the scene. Weekends lean dance music, and Time Out notes occasional jazz and other programming beyond DJs. Chandeliers and couches set it apart from the laser shows around it. The Infatuation flags very expensive drinks, so budget for that. There is little room for anything besides dancing.

Hours and tickets

Floyd's site lists Friday through Sunday, 11 pm to 5 am, which matches Google; Monday to Thursday it is dark. Tickets are sold through DICE for specific nights, so check the lineup before heading out and buy ahead when a known DJ is booked. It sits in the Park West club strip downtown, with Club Space next door.
