Dates and hours
The public sees the fair on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 4 to 6, 2026, from 11 am to 6 pm. Before that come two VIP Days: Wednesday, December 2, from 4 pm, and Thursday, December 3. They are by invitation only, and Art Basel limits groups on those days to six people.
Thursday night, December 3, is also the Art Basel Awards Night. With a public ticket, our pick is Friday at 11 am: you get the first public hours instead of the weekend crowd.
The fair is inside the Miami Beach Convention Center at 1901 Convention Center Drive, on the Miami Beach side of the bay.
Tickets: how to buy, and what we could not confirm
Art Basel sells tickets only in its official online ticket shop, linked from artbasel.com. It sells two kinds: general tickets and Premium Passes, plus a Premium Discovery Pass. The buy page says tickets are available and that availability is limited.
On October 26, 2026, the shop page itself showed no tickets available, and none of Art Basel's public pages listed prices. Resale and listing sites quote figures, but we could not match any of them to an official page, so we leave them out. Check the shop for the current price and day options before you plan.
Children 12 and under get in free with an adult holding a valid ticket, but they still need a child ticket, which you add after choosing the adult ticket. Art Kids, a supervised program for ages 5 to 11, is free for ticket holders. Strollers are welcome, and anyone under 16 must stay with an adult.
Art Basel's ticket pageWhat is on the floor in 2026
Art Basel announced 272 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and territories. The main Galleries sector has 204 of them, including 26 Kabinett presentations inside booths. Nova has 20 galleries showing new work, Positions has 12 solo projects by emerging artists, Survey has 16 historical presentations by 18 galleries, and Zero 10 brings 21 galleries and platforms plus 19 projects.
The show is smaller on purpose this year: about 12 percent less floor space, about 10 percent fewer exhibitors in Galleries, four hospitality plazas instead of five, and blue-chip galleries spread across the floor instead of grouped together. More than 30 galleries are first-timers, and five countries join for the first time: The Bahamas, Estonia, Georgia, Ghana and Hungary.
Two projects are free to see without a ticket: a new outdoor James Turrell work presented with the Turrell Art Foundation, and Public Art Fund's Between Tides, six artist-designed ping-pong tables in Collins Park.
Public Art Fund's Between Tides puts six artist-designed ping-pong tables in this park during the fair, and you need no ticket to see them.
The lawn runs straight onto the sand at 21st Street, next to the Bass Museum and the beachwalk, which makes it an easy break between fair sessions.
Getting there and parking
The free Miami Beach Trolley runs every day from 8 am to 11 pm, about every 20 minutes on each of its four routes: South Beach Loop, Middle Beach Loop, Collins Express and North Beach Loop. The city recommends the Transit app for live arrivals.
If you drive, the city garages closest to the Convention Center include the 17th Street, Pennsylvania Avenue and City Hall garages. The city lists the same ladder for all three: $2 for the first hour, $10 for five to six hours, $20 for the day, and an event flat rate of $15 per vehicle. The city's rate page did not show the Convention Center garage itself, so check its rate on miamibeachfl.gov.
NADA is across the bay at Ice Palace Studios on North Miami Avenue, so plan it as a separate half day rather than a walk from the Convention Center.
