For anyone who wants dozens of major galleries under one roof, three public days a year. The trade-off: tickets are limited and sold only online, groups face strict caps, and you'll need to check the daily hours yourself.

Three days in December

Public days for Art Basel Miami Beach run Friday, December 4 through Sunday, December 6, 2026, at the convention center on Convention Center Drive in South Beach. Before that come the VIP Days: Wednesday, December 2 from 4 pm, and all of Thursday, December 3. The rest of the year this listing is mostly an office address, so don't show up in March expecting art. Daily opening hours weren't posted on the pages we checked, so look them up before you plan your day. It holds a 4.7 from about 440 Google reviews, which is solid for a fair that runs this short.

Tickets and tours

Tickets sell through the fair's official online shop, and availability is limited, so don't count on walking up. The site lists general tickets alongside premium passes, and its footer carries a scam alert, another reason to stick to the official shop. Guided tours run daily during show hours in partnership with ArtNexus, booked directly with them. Admission is not included in the tour price, so you're buying two things. Tours come in English and Spanish, with German, Mandarin and Russian on request. The ArtNexus desk and meeting point is in the North West Lobby, Level 2.

Bringing a group

Self-guided groups have to register before the show using the fair's registration form. The leader then picks up a Guided Tour wristband at the Registration Desk in the North Lobby and wears it the whole visit. Group size is capped at 6 on VIP Days and 12 on public days, and on Wednesday, December 2 groups can only start from 4 pm. Some galleries refuse group visits entirely because of fragile work or tight booths, so check their list first. No homemade signs, no crowding the hallways, and keep the volume down.
